Dong Xuan is one of the big markets in Hanoi Old Quarter. Hanoi capital city has three big markets which are Dong Xuan market, Hom - Duc Vien market and Hang Da market but Dong Xuan is the biggest and oldest market in Hanoi.

From feudal times at 300 years ago, Dong Xuan market was a well-known market. Dong Xuan marekt is located in the center of Hanoi Ancient Quarter and near the Red River, Long Bien - Hanoi Red River Bridge. It is located in the end of Hang Dao - Hang Ngang street.
